NYC: from start to finish....

Hello again!
I apologize for my lack of blog updates during my trip to New York. I was so swept up in the moment while I was there, that I never had a chance to sit down and post something.

New York was one of my favourite trips that I have been on to date. The city is so full of life, excitement, and attitude, and I can honestly say I loved every minute of being there- So much so that I already want to go back!
So, in lieu of a daily post I will give you a bit a of photo journal of the highlights of my trip, from start to finish.....(in no particular order)

Me on 93rd and Lexington

Amy and the mysterious snow face, Central Park.

2 Canadian girls in the Big Apple.

Amy in Times Square.

The view from Central Park east.

The Flat Iron District.

The Guggenheim Museum.

Shots from the American Museum of Natural History, and
the top of the Empire State Building.

The Natural History Museum is an incredible place, that we ended up spending nearly 4 hours in and hardly made a dent in viewing the whole collection. I swear that place has something for everyone: from dinosaurs to ancient Chinese history, and even a space show!

The view from the observatory deck at the Empire State Building.

A little slice of history: pizza at Lombardi's.

Central Park.

Central Park.

Amy at MOMA.

Starry Night.

MOMA

Marilyn by Andy Warhol

The view from above.

These dancers have been performing on this street for 10 years.
They put on an amazing show in front of the entrance to the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Ferry.
Just a quick picture before the show started...
In a spur of the moment decision, we bought tickets to see Kathy Griffin
at Madison Square Garden- she was hilarious!

Amy, me, and Lady Liberty.

The city lights, as seen from the Empire State Building.

The Registry room on Ellis Island.
Ellis Island turned out to be one of my favourite sites,
there is so much history there. It is incredible to think that
12 million people passed through this room.

Amy in the Registry room.

Feel the love.

Chinatown.

Me in the Egyptian collection at the Met

Grand Central Station.

Amy at Washington Square Park.

Donald Trump's house, The Trump Tower.

Rockefeller Centre.

NYC.

Well, that was a small taste of my two weeks in New York. Please forgive the long post, but trust me, I have way more pictures where these came from!
Cheers,
Amira
